CGE supports activism that aims to bring about positive social and economic change both locally and internationally.  The Centre supports the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) campaign that is led by Palestinian civil society and designed to ensure respect for Palestinian rights and sovereignty.  To that end, the Centre became an Apartheid Free Zone which means that we have committed as an organisation to supporting the principles of BDS to boycott Israeli products and institutions, and international companies that profit from Israeli human rights abuses.  CGE is also a strong supporter of trade unions and workers rights and always ensures that we have trade union representation on our Management Board.
